Blog Entry 5: Allegory of the Cave

In one of the famous Socrates parables - "The allegory of the Cave" we can find all the true about life. He shows us a picture of a prisoners who spent most of their life in the cave. The prisoners have their legs and neck chained in way to do not let them do any movements. They have on front of them huge wall which work for them like a screen. On the other side of the wall free people are passing along carring many different things. Prisoners have never hear what exact somebody on the other side was saying, they can just see a shape of people shadows. The rest stays just for their imagination. When finally prisoner is released and have a chance to get out of the cave, he is completely lost. On the beginning he can't afford that life. After while he is trying to get back to the cave, but it is already too late.
That allegory show us that people who once found something out can't back to their life anymore. Once we know something new than our life won't be the same again like before. In one of the famous Socrates parables - "The allegory of the Cave" we can find all the true about life.
