                The documentary movie Fahrenheit 9/11 by Michael Moore tells the story of President’s Bush life and Terrorism in the USA and his connection with Laden’s family.

                First picture and youtube movie shows WTC towers attacked by terrorists. Hijacked planes crashed into those huge buildings. It was one of most unpredictable catastrophes in the USA history. That caused a lot of panic. People didn’t know what to do; they couldn’t believe that really happened. That act of terrorism showed us that we can’t believe in protection from side of government anymore. Two main towers in NYC were destroyed like toys. They collapsed that easily.  Thousands of innocent people died because of no reason.  The rest of people are worried about their lives till now.  Attached picture shows moment of explosion, situation which makes us think about our lives. I thought many times what about if I were in that building than? I was there in 2000 year. I went on the roof of this building as a tourist with my family.  I have never expected that something like this can happen with this building. America was always in my mind as a strongest country which has a power and can’t be destroyed by anybody. But how I can see that wasn’t true. We weren’t that secured as we supposed to be.

                The movie Fahrenheit 9/11 shows that how presidency of Bush had influence on those facts. How much have he done to fight with terrorism and subjective of Michael Moore about Bush’s real intentions about War. Everything is mostly about money and gas and fight with terrorism is just a cover of it.

                The second picture show terrorist attack risk levels, about which we can hear in movie. There is no more use for a green or blue risk light. They are not in use since 9/11. People are kept under a pressure of stress that level is at least yellow. Stressed people are way easier to be controlled. When we are scared we will better follow the ideas of government if they will in exchange promise us to lower the risk. War with terrorism is a great idea to control our minds.

                I chose those pictures and movie because it reminds me about significant moment in the USA history, which will stay in our minds forever.

Blog Entry 18

    Photo above reminds me the movie "Sleep Dealer" because it shows in very simple way our connection with the real world. People can be connected by internet with everybody and be everywhere.We are getting connected by cables.
    The "Sleep Dealer" tell us the story which can soon become true. If we will think for a while we will realize that part of that reality we have already. Maybe we don't work for a money through computer as a soldiers or construction workers yet, but sooner or later that can happen too. There are already programs which let control robots using connection to the human brain. I haven't seen yet on our world connection to the body like the move shows but I think it is just issue of time - our future.

I agree with Agata that Memo is fighting for freedom of the village. He try to destroy the dam which government put there and send soldiers to protect it and kill innocent people. It is fight for freedom. He don't want to be controlled by machines although he let them do that but it is just because need of situation in which he was in that moment. Somebody had to do that to let others live in happiness in village.

   Organic food is a discussion point of many people. Main believes are that organic things has better taste and they are healthier than regular food.
   Pesticides are not used to grow up organic food that makes the taste way much better on a front of regular style fruits and vegetables. Organic meat comes from animals feed with fodder, not like most "farmers" who stuff them with steroids to make them bigger. Taste is very important factor to satisfy our hunger. We can eat than less and we enjoy it much more. People don't like to eat food which tastes like a paper. It can look beautiful but is nothing comparing to the need of good taste. Organic things are made natural way. They are grown longer so they get more sunlight. It helps to develop in them natural taste which they supposed to have.

In my opinion makers of The Meatrix had a great idea to show us how the reality is. They used idea from fameous The Matrix to show us how blind some people are. We eat food, buy it and don't think from where it comes from. Nowadays there is no so much healthy farms where animals are treated how they supposed too. Safety and animal care doesn't exist anymore in big corporations. There is everything just about profit. More money they want to make, worse conditions animals have. Most animals are stuffed with chemicals to get "better" resultats of sales. The makers of this movie showed us what is real, not that what we see in TV in movies, that mostly doesn't exist anymore. We not supposed to live in imagined world by thinking everything is fine. We have to do something about it.

Blog Entry 13: Neo has a choice

   The worst what can happen in our life is to live in the world of lies, because imagined world can't go with true feelings. People should not give up too easily, they supposed to try to explore themselves.
   People who live in imagined world will never have true feelings. Neo have never understood his life. During the day he was simple person who was working as a computer. The substitute of his real life was searching the web under the hacker's name Neo. During the day everybody called him Mr. Anderson. he was curious of furthermore. He knew that there is something wrong in the world where he lived. He felt emptyness of his life. That's why he wanted to find what the matrix is. Finally the choice was given to him by Morpheus. Choice of pills. We can see that as a unknown opportunity of change of life. He didn't know what to expect, but for sure he didn't want to live anymore in the world which he had.
   Life gave us opportunities, but we are never sure of consequences which we will have to afford. Character of Neo showed us that difficult choices have to be made in our lives. He knew that he will lose everything what he had. As a Mr. Anderson he looked in his life for The Matrix. That was important for him. He was able to leave his regular life to discover more. That kind of situation goes usually with huge risk. He took that risk because he believer.
   When we believe in opportunities in our life, in better life, and love than we can leave a lot behind of us. School is a great example in our life. We wish to have good life and make a money than we can't stay anymore in careless life under parents. We can't count on that somebody will take care of us, will control us. We want to be independent, that is a reason of making choices. W don't want to stay in "Matrix" when somebody will tell us all the time how our day will look like. the same situation is with love. Love goes with many responsibilities. Sometimes we wonder it too, but we take a risk and we are making decisions. We are able to leave our world for that feeling. Some people will ask why some feeling change after a while. I think because we believe in it. Even because some difficulties, every day problems, misunderstanding we are going to choice "the red pill". That is many times kind of unknown. It dependence is based on feeling of two people. That's why we are sometimes not sure about choice which we risk.
   The other reason of the problem is connected to idea of escaping from world of lies is curiosity. We don't want to be closed in a box which is our everyday simple life. We want to discover like Neo. If we are not sure of some things than we have to check them. It can lead to our happiness. When we won't take a chance than we will never know how our life will be. Neo realized that his choice was wise. He found his place in real world. That's what he always was looking for. he wanted to do something more than he's old "real" world was expecting from him.
    The life make us sometimes feel that is unreal or we live in lies. If we think that way than we have to find what is real and what we really want. When we have a choice to do good things with our life or sometimes unexpected than maybe it's worth to take a chance to go one step more.

   Reality Shows are about competition between people. They are called "reality" but the true is different. Usually they have nothing in common with regular life of people. Those kind of shows are just about the image of the person and money. Claim: We can indentify the idea of move "The Matrix" with destruction which we make to our planet.

Reason: It show us where that can get us if we will go all the time just in direction of developing technology. 

Evidence: That we are destroying our planet is not a secret. We prefer to build new things, computers, weapons, which are sometimes made as a new tool to kill, destroy, to "achieve" something. People don't look anymore on that what earth is worth. Many of them just don't have a time to think about it. They are ready to develop technology, invent things and in the same time they completely forget about consequences which we will get sooner or later. Matrix is the world after nuclear war. Weapon which supposed to protect country against others, became a weapon to destroy everything we had.

Blog Entry 7: Reflection and Evaluation

In this class I face problems with language which is actually second language for me. I have a chance to practice it, make a progress and learn new words, what is very important for me in my carrier. I think that I'm not that bad in grammar, my worse side is probably using more specific words. I expect that after semester in this class I will be able to pas CAT-W without problems. I don't like too much to write essays about something. Usually I prefer to talk about something and discuss it during conversation than write it down.
CAT-W practice was not that difficult as I expected but anyway it wasn't a easy one for sure.

Blog Entry 6: Review Socrates' and Plato's Allegory

     When I was a child I always believed in that the life of adult people is more fun then mine. According to the "Allegory in a Cave" by Plato I can say that be a child is like being a chained person.
     I used to believe that life on my own will be much easier for me because I will decide about everything I want, I will spent my money in the way I would like, and nobody will tell me what I have to do in my life, what is bad or good way of behavior in life. I always thought I will enjoy it a lot. I thought like a lot children that when they become adult than the rest of people will count with their opinions. I realized after years, when I finally become adult by age, that reality is much different than we thought before we discovered everything about that what we wanted. That what I used to believe was partly true. the problem is that I haven't think about how much responsibility I will have to afford in my life when I will be adult. As a child we usually think just about advantages, we don't take an option of problems which start in pair with some age.
 When I used to go just to school, all I was worried about was how to get good grades and what will I do after classes will be done. On weekends I could do whatever I wanted. I used to go with friends to play basketball, we were going to ride on bikes or inline skates. During the nights we used to go on parties which were made for teenagers. I hadn't make any money than so all of it I usually took from parents. It wasn't too much but always enough on some fun. I knew it that I was dependent of my parents and that if I will argue with them too much than I won't get any money or I would get some penalty. I felt than like a person from Socrates' allegory because If somebody older didn't give me enough funds or didn't let me go somewhere than I wasn't able to do anything. I felt than closed in my house like a person chained to the rocks in allegory.
   Adult life is a little bit different than I used to imagine that as a child. I can do whatever I want to, but it usually goes with some responsibillity. I have to go every day to work. As we know money doesn't give happiness but we need it anyway to pay rent, bills, school, and everyday expenses.  That is the part which can be compared to the allegory's prisoner who got out of his cave life and realized that the life outside is full of surprises, new things, which scared him. I like my life style even that is usually in hurry. I always have a time after my job and school to enjoy it. Weeks are sometimes hard but I find a time to rest during the weekend.
     I have a moments in my life when I would like to come back to my "cave" - childhood. That happen mostly because new bad experiences in my life. I good know it is not possible anymore, but anyway it is not what I really want to. I think that the problem is sometimes people expect more from life than they can have. We have to accept many things and the true is that we can't come back to some moments the same like prisoner in Socrates story. People should look forward and do not think about what could happen if they would be back to the biginnings.   

Blog Entry 5: Allegory of the Cave

In one of the famous Socrates parables - "The allegory of the Cave" we can find all the true about life. He shows us a picture of a prisoners who spent most of their life in the cave. The prisoners have their legs and neck chained in way to do not let them do any movements. They have on front of them huge wall which work for them like a screen. On the other side of the wall free people are passing along carring many different things. Prisoners have never hear what exact somebody on the other side was saying, they can just see a shape of people shadows. The rest stays just for their imagination. When finally prisoner is released and have a chance to get out of the cave, he is completely lost. On the beginning he can't afford that life. After while he is trying to get back to the cave, but it is already too late.
That allegory show us that people who once found something out can't back to their life anymore. Once we know something new than our life won't be the same again like before.In one of the famous Socrates parables - "The allegory of the Cave" we can find all the true about life. Blog Entry 4: Hype Workshop

   Nowadays people are in the middle of huge mass of advertisements called mental polution. That is the thing which we cannot control anymore. That is my agree with the author of "Hype".

    Advertisements are the worst pollutions of our brains. We are attacked by them every single day in every place we go. They are no longer just in standard places as a billboards buses, stadiums. Now they are everywhere we are. It doesn’t matter if we go to the bank, gas station, or even sit in a classroom. They always company us. Nowadays interactive screens on supermarket carts show us ads while we shop. That means there are no more silent moment in our lives.

    The article "Hype" by Kalle Lasn in Signs of Life in the USA: Reading on Popular Culture gives us example of the sample day of avarage american. Advertisements are part of every person's life. Everything starts on the morning after we woke up. Lot of advertisenents fill our brains just after we turn on TV, walk on the street , using public transportation, watching live sport game, go on a shopping or even when we use the gas station.
It does not matter in what direction we are looking - those eye catching billbords, leaflets, and all other advertisements are everywhere. More over they are not only visual, we can hear plenty of them in the radio or during visiting shopping mall.
    The worst part of ads is that we have them all time around. We see them on the nozzle on gas stations, there are also on every ATM, as well as in school's classes. Sometimes we do not even pay attention on our habbits when we are waiting somewhere in line, we see ad and we just read it.
    In our generation of electronic devices the most eye catching idea of advertisements are small TVs which we can find almost everywhere, we can see them especially in public transportation. They have big influance on people because during the time we have almost nothing to do we can enjoy some commercial of new model of well known brand of cars, new exercise machine, cell phones or for example extra sharp set of knives.
   Advertisements are problem of our population because they floods our brains with mostly useless for us stuff. They destroy our lives because we do not have a time for rest anymore, they keep us working on something all the time, even if we are on vacation that will not change much. We are convicted on company of them for every day of our lives.

• What did you get from thinking about annotations with the class?

I got great idea of how I can make my work much easier, faster and more effective.

• What did you get from writing annotations for "Is Google Making Us Stupid?" with your partner?

We understood that Google has many disadvantages. One of them is that people usually look for a fastest way of finding information, but at the same time when we find something easily than we forget it fast too. We are not getting deeply into the problem. There is not a problem anymore is just curiosity which desappear quickly.

• What did you learn about the reading by annotating it?

I learnt that computer are very helpful and useful, but usually they distract us. They don't let us think clearly. If we want to really think than we supposed do that without computers, than we really use our brains.

• How may annotating make you a better writer?

They let me focus on main ideas which i can develop in my essay.
